Cherry Mobile Flare S3 Stock ROM

Good day readers, on my previous article I discussed about Myphone Agua Rio. Now this guide covers reverting to stock ROM, however if you want to root your phone you may proceed here, “Root Cherry Mobile Flare S3“. Since there are a lot of custom ROM’s available for this device, flashing custom ROM sometimes may results to bricking your device or it could not be stable as Stock, but how we can restore it to the original or stock ROM? This guide exists for that. All you need to do is follow the instruction carefully.

REQUIREMENTS

For stock ROM choose only one below, depending on your firmware version.
After you have downloaded the required files. We must install the MediaTek drivers first before flashing. Follow the tutorial here for Windows XP and 7 “Installing Mediatek Drivers on Windows XP & 7” for Windows 8 and latest “Installing Mediatek Drivers on Windows 8.1“.

 CHERRY MOBILE FLARE S3 STOCK ROM

  1. Create a folder in your desktop and name it as “1” or whatever you want and copy the SP Flash tool and Cherry Mobile Flare S3 Stock ROM in that folder.
  2. Extract SP Flash tool and Stock ROM
  3. Open SP Flash tool folder and run flash_tool.exe. For Windows 7 and 8 users, you must run it as administrator.
  4. From the main screen of SP Flash tool, click scatter loading button and browse the scatter.txt file in stock ROM folder.
  5. Uncheck preloader.bin.
  6. Turn off your Cherry Mobile Flare S3 and remove the battery.
  7. Now click the Download button. Plug your device into the computer through USB cable.
  8. The process should start once you see a yellow progress bar at the bottom of SP Flash tool.
  9. A green with “check” symbol will appear once the process has been finished. Reboot your device. Do not panic it take 5 or more minutes to boot.
